Infosys has put two trainee openings on Naukri from its own company account. Both are dated 15 October 2026. That is where the Infosys off campus hiring 2026 round for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 batch is running. The fresher section of Infosys's own careers site shows no posting. The April 2026 off-campus form that many videos still link to has closed. The real listing is the Naukri one, and this post goes through what it says and what it leaves out.
Two trainee roles, 3,000 openings
The listings cover two roles, both at trainee level and both open in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR:
- Specialist Programmer (Trainee): 2,000 openings. Infosys describes it as core programming work on full-stack apps and enterprise platforms, with AI used inside software engineering.
- Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee): 1,000 openings. The role covers design, development, validation and support work on client projects.
The two postings sit on the Infosys company profile on Naukri, with the Infosys logo and the company's own profile text. They are not under a consultancy. Each shows over 100 applicants already. Each carries a validity date of 13 January 2027 in its posting data.
Batch, degree and experience
Eligibility in both listings is one line long: 2024, 2025 or 2026 batch UG or PG graduates, with up to 2 years of work experience. Freshers qualify because the range starts at zero. Read three things before you trust a video title:
- The 2027 batch is not named. Students graduating next year are outside this Infosys off campus hiring 2026 round as written.
- No degree list appears. The posting says "UG/PG graduates" and nothing more. It does not limit itself to B.E., B.Tech or MCA, and it does not promise anything to any stream either.
- No percentage cut-off and no rule on active backlogs is written anywhere in the two listings.
Engineering graduates can compare this with the other engineering openings on Classic Jobs. MCA and M.Sc graduates can check the MCA and M.Sc listings, where the same three cities come up often.
Pay by level, as written in the listings
Infosys lists the trainee pay inside the job description, not in the salary field. It splits the Specialist Programmer role into three levels:
- Specialist Programmer L3 (Trainee): 21 LPA
- Specialist Programmer L2 (Trainee): 16 LPA
- Specialist Programmer L1 (Trainee): 10 LPA, plus a joining bonus of 1 lakh
- Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee): 6.25 LPA, plus a joining bonus of 75,000
The listing does not say how a candidate lands on L1, L2 or L3. Treat the levels as the company's pay bands for this role, not as a choice you make on the form. The salary field on Naukri shows 11 to 21 lakh for the Specialist Programmer posting and 7 lakh for the DSE posting. That is a rounded summary of the same figures. For an Infosys off campus hiring 2026 trainee, the figure in the job description is the one to go by.
What the work involves
The Specialist Programmer posting is very specific about technology. That tells you what the test and interviews are likely to lean on. It names these areas:
- Java microservices: Java and JEE, Spring Boot, Cloud Foundry and Docker.
- Big data and machine learning: Hadoop HDFS, Hive, Spark, Storm, Kafka, Spark MLlib and Azure ML.
- Functional programming: Scala, Akka and Play.
- Scripting and NoSQL: React, Angular, Express, Node.js, MongoDB and Cassandra.
- DevOps and IoT: Puppet or Chef, Docker, Kubernetes or Mesos, Jenkins, Git, Jira, and Maven or Gradle.
Day to day, the posting asks the trainee to work as an individual contributor. You write high-performance code in procedural, object-oriented and scripting languages. You work in Agile mode, handle performance tuning across platforms, and take work from requirements through to production-ready code. The posting also lists new products and platforms for clients, open-source contributions, and internal tech user groups.
The DSE posting is shorter. The trainee reads requirements with business analysts, writes and reviews code, documents and unit test scripts, runs functional, integration, system and user-experience testing, works on go-live tasks, and responds to production issues. Nobody preparing for this needs the whole list above. A strong grip on one language, data structures, SQL and the basics of one web framework covers what both postings ask for at entry level.
Three cities, and what the listing leaves out
Both roles name Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR as locations. The postings do not state the work mode, so do not assume hybrid or remote. For a round this size, the gaps matter as much as the facts. Here is what the Infosys off campus hiring 2026 listings do not contain:
- No test date, interview date or round structure.
- No last date to apply other than the listing validity of 13 January 2027.
- No percentage, backlog or degree rule.
- No mention of the 2027 batch.
For a sense of scale, Infosys said on its April 2026 results call that it plans to hire at least 20,000 freshers this financial year. In July it said about 4,000 had joined in the April to June quarter. Its second-quarter results are due on 23 October 2026, and that call is where the next official fresher number will come from.
How to apply, and what to watch for
The Infosys off campus hiring 2026 application is on Naukri, so you need a Naukri account. Then open the posting for the role you want and use its Apply button:
- Specialist Programmer (Trainee), Infosys on Naukri
- Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee), Infosys on Naukri
Use one email ID and one phone number on Naukri and in any Infosys mail that follows, so a test or interview invite reaches the same inbox. No genuine Infosys process asks for money. Infosys publishes a recruitment fraud alert on its careers site for exactly this reason. If someone offers a paid slot, a paid referral or a "direct link" for this drive, it is not from Infosys.
If this round does not fit your batch or city, these recent listings in the same three cities are worth a look: the Microsoft software engineer opening in Hyderabad, the Qualcomm associate engineer role in Bengaluru, the Wipro cyber security analyst L1 role in Bengaluru and the NIIT associate software engineer opening in Gurgaon.
Quick answers

Is this the April 2026 Infosys off-campus form? No. That form has closed. These are new postings dated 15 October 2026 on Infosys's Naukri account.
Which Specialist Programmer level will I get? The listing gives the three pay levels but does not say how a candidate is placed in one.
Is there a last date? The posting data shows a validity date of 13 January 2027. Infosys has not announced a separate deadline.
Can BCA, B.Sc or B.Com graduates apply? The listing says UG or PG graduates and does not list degrees, so nothing in it excludes them. It also does not single any stream out. Read your own eligibility as "not stated" rather than "confirmed".
